ONE OF THOSE BEAUTY HAULS TYPE THINGUMMIES

By Sephora: Foundation Brush / Foundation Compact in R20 / Kabuki Brush  / By Fred Farrugia: Concealer

Clarins Exfoliant Face Cream + Sample of Daily Energizer Cream

Two for 20€ CK Perfume. CK One and CK One Shock.

Samples of I Lowe You and Biotherm Eau de Toilette

Sephora Dry Shampoo Bottle

Sephora Pink Neon Make-Up Bag

Face Toner from The Body Shop

Garnier Fructis Anti-Dandruff Shampoo / My Label Total Volume Conditioner / My Label De-knotting Spray / Exfoliant-Removing Sponges

I tried doing a video of this "beauty haul", as they're so popularly called on youtube, however, after watching myself talk to the camera, I realised I hate how my voice records and how fat I look, so I decided to shoot the purchases instead. I will try filming again in a month or two and see how it goes. I don't even know if any of you are interested, but do tell me if you are.

As you can see, I've been busy. Actually, these items were all bought in the same day, which is quite shameful (for me). I've been really getting into make-up due to certain beauty youtube channels and thus, have recently become more drawn to beauty shopping rather than clothes shopping. A tragedy, I know.

I'd like to explain that I decided not to do an internship journal after all because what I do is quite uninteresting for this blog as it has absolutely nothing to do with fashion. However, if any of you are curious, things have been going well and I've already published a few things for the hospital.

Now...moving on to you. How are you? And how tired were you of looking at the damn toast and eggs? Sorry about that.

  11. My Label???

  15. I love perfume samples :) Thanks a lot. Yes, it was quite hot, but still comfortable. We used to have about 35 degrees constantly before I left Vienna (now it's more of an up and down thing), so it was actually a bit "colder" in Spain.

  17. Thank you very much! We had about 32 degrees today and a huge cloudburst a few hours ago. We could swap weather :P
Since graduating I've been reading a lot (I really missed it during stressful phases at school), taking pictures, meeting up with friends and planing my future aka next year.

  31. Don't you find beauty hauls are so much more satisfying than clothes? All the packaging to unwrap, instructions to read, potions to sniff... You can drag the excitement out for hours! Especially if there's an exfoliating product in the mix - my personal weakness.

  32. hey joana, I do like your little beauty product buys, finally I get to see what you use! I needa go potion shoopping too and rack up some goodies for my skin before heading back to London lol

    1. Hi! It's okay that you're asking something 'off topic', I'm more than glad to answer. To be honest I don't really spend much money at all on my blog and I don't see why you would think that. Can you elaborate why you think I spend a lot on it? As far as my experience can help, I think to start a blog all you need is a concept and, like I once heard a media professional say, honesty. Just be yourself and keep true to your principles and you will be fine.
