My name is Joana Gomes and I'm from Lisbon. I have a BA in Media Studies and just finished an online editorial internship at a Portuguese national women's publication. I've also done a work experience stint at Coast magazine, 'the only magazine about the British coastline in all its life-affirming glory', worked as a journalist's personal assistant for a short period of time and interviewed a couple of Portuguese fashion designers.
I'm moving to London in March 2013, my first real adventure as I'm doing it completely on my own! I want to be a fashion journalist and, for me, London's the place to do (plus, I've wanted to move there for years!)
